Garness Jones secures quality standard renewal
GARNESS Jones has underlined the quality of its credentials across the business by passing its latest external audit and securing re-certification of ISO 9001:2008.
The success is further recognition of the company’s continuing commitment to adopting and adhering to quality management systems. It also acknowledges the ongoing investment in ensuring that the property side of the business is supported by administrative functions which are efficient and robust.
In carrying out the audit the assessors looked at the agency department and the property management department, examining such aspects of the business as marketing of properties, terms and conditions, the relationship with solicitors and other professional contacts, effective use of software and management of contractor insurances.
Garness Jones has been achieving ISO since 2003, having identified the standard as a badge of quality which inspires confidence among clients and contacts.
Elaine Dennison, Administration Director at Garness Jones, said: “The auditor chose the departments that he wanted to look at and we had to show that our procedures in those areas are up to date and consistent with the policies that we have set out.
“There is no doubt that our experience with ISO 9001:2008 has helped us to improve our operational efficiency across the business. As a result of that we are providing a better service to our customers and we are gaining recognition as a business in which quality is paramount.”
