Getting Involved in the Media
Promote your business in the media for all the right reasons.
Have you got a story to tell or a comment to make? Get involved with us and raise the profile of your company through the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce’s media contacts.
The Chamber is regularly approached by the British Chambers of Commerce and national and regional media organisations for quotes, comments and case studies on a variety of issues affecting businesses in the Humber region. These range from the upcoming City of Culture year in 2017, the local economy, inward investment, transport issues like Humber Bridge tolls, improvements to the A160, A15, rail electrification, HS2, HS3, Government initiatives, flooding, or just about anything else you care to name, which affects people living and working in the Humber region.
We receive inquiries from BBC Look North, ITV’s Calendar, Estuary TV, Radio Humberside, Viking FM, KCFM, Lincs FM, Compass FM and national and regional press. It’s a great, FREE way of getting your message out there – and remember – if you don’t wish to comment on a particular story, you can always say no.
We are now actively building up a list of companies and contacts willing to put themselves forward to talk to the media on topical issues and if you would like to be on that list, send your name, company and contact details to David Hooper by email d.hooper@hull-humber-chamber.co.uk.
If you would like to discuss these opportunities in more detail, please give David a call on 01482 324976.
