Bridge McFarland strengthens commercial property team

Bridge McFarland strengthens commercial property team

Kate Seward

AN experienced commercial property specialist who has worked in the Hull area since qualifying in 2003 has been appointed to the expanding team at Bridge McFarland Solicitors.

Kate Seward, who joins the firm from Andrew Jackson, will work on commercial property on both sides of the Humber from Bridge McFarland’s offices in Hull and Grimsby.

Kate comes from East Yorkshire and studied at Sheffield University before returning to Hull to finish her training contract with Sandersons in 2003. She moved to Andrew Jackson the following year and worked in real estate, moving into general property in 2008.

With a client base ranging from individuals to SMEs and some national companies as well as major banks, Kate’s workload has included advising on acquisitions and disposals, corporate support, business sales, leasehold management and advising banks and property developers.

Kate said: “Hull is a buoyant market and there is a lot of redevelopment work taking place in and around the city. I was ready for a new challenge and I’m looking forward to expanding on my knowledge and helping existing and new clients at Bridge McFarland.

“I know a lot of my new colleagues already and I see Bridge McFarland as a firm which works to develop its business by helping its people to succeed and grow professionally.”
