Chamber AGM to welcome Sir Nic Dakin as guest speaker
THE Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 188th AGM this Friday, March 7, at the MKM Stadium, Hull.
Our lunchtime speaker will be Sir Nic Dakin, (pictured) the MP for Scunthorpe, Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice.
Sir Nic will update guests on the fast evolving changes to local government legislation, devolution affecting the Humber and the Government’s agenda affecting zero carbon energy as well as the issues affecting Scunthorpe and British Steel.
The AGM starts at 11.30am and will be followed by lunch from noon for 12.30pm.
