From Apprentice to Director – Hull & East Yorkshire Recruitment Firm celebrate Adam Barnes 20 years in the Business

A long-standing member of staff at one of the largest independent recruitment firms in Yorkshire celebrates 20 years in the business, moving from his early days as an apprentice to his current role as Director.

Adam Barnes, 38, began his career with Prestige Recruitment at just 18 years of age, working as an apprentice supporting a small industrial team servicing 20–30 clients in the Hull and surrounding areas with temporary staffing, cold calling and active client’s development.

After a busy, energetic and successful tenure, with Adam fast moving into transport management and then onto Regional Manager in 2014, Adam was promoted to his current role as Director in 2017, during Prestige Recruitment’s 25 years in business.

Based out of the firm’s head office in Bowlalley Lane in Hull city centre, Adam has seen many changes in the industry and has enjoyed keeping ahead of the game to ensure the firm’s continued success.

Adam commented: “I am extremely proud of my career within Prestige and even prouder to be part of its success. I started out as just a teenager with little experience and I have relished every challenge along the way. I have dedicated my career to the business and my team, loyalty is a real buzz-word for us all and I am passionate about the services and expertise that we provide. I am a big part of where Prestige is today and Prestige has become a large part of me.
