Grow fast, grow global – with expert help from our e-commerce and digital trade experts

THE International Trade Centre at Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce is working with HEY LEP to provide Hull businesses with an exceptional opportunity to hear from and meet top international trade experts at a series of export awareness and development workshops in March.

The workshop on March 14 is called Grow Global and will look at International E-Commerce and Cross-border Digital Trade. It runs from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Tuesday, March 14.

Our experts will share their extensive knowledge and expertise to help you grow your business globally.  We will be welcoming Sarah Carroll who has over 30 years’ experience in e-commerce and is author of UK Amazon bestseller “Grow Fast, Grow Global: 6 steps to unstoppable international growth in the digital age”. 

Joining Sarah will be Jessica McNally, International e-Commerce Advisor for the Northern Powerhouse region of the Department for International Trade.

There are various options for selling internationally and Sarah and Jessica will be discussing best practices in growing your business globally and providing top tips for selling through your websites, Marketplaces, social media and distributors. They will also help you with Action Planning:

Are you already digital and want to go international? Or are you international and want to go digital? What is the opportunity? What are the drivers? What is your visibility? (you need to be visible in search engines, marketplaces and social media!) Where are you on your digital journey? What support is available?

We will also be hearing from a local company which has gone through the digitalisation process and is now successfully selling globally.

Both Sarah and Jessica will be available for a limited number of private consultations after the presentations. These 121s are available to all attendees but will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  There will also be the opportunity to network over lunch.

This is a free of charge event for Hull-based businesses and is part of a series of export awareness and development workshops funded through the Shared Prosperity Fund.
