Hull accountants welcome eight new recruits

HULL'S largest independent accountancy and business advisory firm has welcomed eight new recruits, including seven trainees who are joining its well-regarded professional training programme.
Smailes Goldie Group, which has offices in Hull and Barton, has appointed George Cooper, Gemma Edwards and Allysa Smith as Audit & Accounts Trainees. Harry Giles J joins as an Audits & Accounts and Tax Trainee, Kieron Juler joins as a Tax Trainee, and Lea Field and Lottie Jackson join as Accounts Trainees.
Meanwhile, Jayne Hussey joins the firm as a Personal Tax Supervisor.
Smailes Goldie Group’s training programme has an enviable national reputation within the accountancy sector. Seven of the firm’s 9 partners qualified with the firm, most recently Mike Stocks and Luke Taylor progressed from training contract to partnership within a decade.
