Hull KR pop up at Princes Quay ahead of derby
ROBINS fans get the chance to paint the town red and white ahead of the derby, with discounted merchandise available at city centre store
As derby day approaches, Hull Kingston Rovers fans will have the chance to get their hands on half price home shirts and other exclusive sale items at a new pop up shop in Princes Quay.
Robins fans will also be able to buy tickets for the derby from the pop up shop, which opens on the centre’s Outlet Level 3 from Tuesday 18 until Thursday 27 June, every day from 9am – 5.30pm.
Amongst the items on sale are home shirts with a massive 50% off with training wear and junior accessories also reduced.
Laura George, Head of Fan Experience from Hull KR, said:
“In the build up to derby day we wanted to give fans the chance to get their hands on some great bargains and make sure they’re kitted out for the big game when we see who will take bragging rights over the city.
“This is the third pop up shop we’ve had in Hull city centre, and the previous two have been a huge success, so we’re looking forward to meeting more fans. Also, watch out for announcements across social media about special player appearances, offers and prizes throughout derby week.”
The pop up is the first in a series of stores coming to Princes Quay over the coming months, with the shopping centre branching out to give shoppers something new and exciting to experience within the centre.
Princes Quay Centre Manager John Magee, said:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the Red and Whites to Princes Quay in the run up to the derby – I'm sure there’ll be some friendly rivalry as the big game approaches.
“As this is the only true derby in Rugby League we know both red and white and black and white fans will want to ensure they paint the town in their club colours as they go head to head at the KCOM Craven Park Stadium.
“This is the first in a series of pop up shops we’re bringing to the centre over the coming months – as the picture of retail is changing, we’re looking at ways of giving both retailers and shoppers an opportunity to find something new at Princes Quay.”
