LinkedIn is on the ball with Grimsby recruitment opportunities
LinkedIn is looking to support Grimsby residents by shining a spotlight on companies who are actively recruiting / or may potentially have a role coming up in the future. Its aim is to bring more people into the talent pool and with the involvement of local companies, directly help to fill roles they are currently recruiting for.
Alongside a number of other initiatives, LinkedIn will be working with Grimsby Town Football Club to highlight the employment opportunities in the area and showcase current live job roles at home matches throughout the year.
The ‘job takeovers’ include advertising the vacancies in some obvious locations (on the digital screens at half-time) and some less obvious locations (napkins served with burgers for example) at the club. The first takeover will take place on Saturday 21st September when Grimsby Town faces Macclesfield.
We’ll also be bringing The Linked Inn - a pop-up pub where people can get a job over a drink - to Blundell Park on Tuesday 24th September. The doors will open at 5pm for Grimsby residents who would like to discuss personalised job-seeker advice from LinkedIn, and live job opportunities with employers.
LinkedIn is looking for companies who would be interested in promoting one of their upcoming/current job opportunities either at the ground on printed/visual assets on match day, or in person at the Linked Inn. In the case of the latter, they ask for a hiring manager to come to the event for a couple of hours to informally meet prospective candidates who are interested in finding out more about the job.
Alternatively, if any companies are keen to be involved, but you don’t have a role you’re looking to fill quite yet, LinkedIn would still welcome you to come along and speak to guests about the company and the skillset candidates require.
To showcase these initiatives, and provide an elevated platform for job opportunities, LinkedIn will be driving editorial media coverage and social media conversation. As a result they are expecting visibility of the campaign through local press articles and LinkedIn’s highly engaged social media channels.
For ease of consideration, you will find outlined the core scope of involvement below. However, someone from LinkedIn is happy to have a chat and discuss this further with you.
Opportunities:
- Promote a current job vacancy by attending The Linked Inn at Grimsby Town FC
- And / or promote a current job vacancy around the ground (e.g. on screens, in the programme etc)
Please note there is no charge for promoting the job(s) via this opportunity
