New addition to Wilkin Chapman team is good news for region’s leisure and tourism sector
A RISING star in the field of corporate and commercial law has joined a growing team at the Beverley office of Wilkin Chapman.
And with a background in the holiday and caravan park industry, Sarah Elizabeth Kemp will use her expertise to offer specialist advice and support within that sector – in addition to a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial work.
“The team here asked me to come on board and offered me a great opportunity to progress and grow the business in the region,” said Sarah.
Born and raised in Holderness, Sarah attended Withernsea High School before studying law at Hull University, and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in York.
As she gained experience in Corporate and Commercial law, Sarah was able to combine that expertise with her passion for the holiday park industry.
Today she sits as a Director on the national board of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association and is a legal authority on sector matters.
“The East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coastlines are home to some of the largest holiday home and caravan parks in the UK. Couple that with the fact that Hull is at the heart of the mobile home manufacturing industry, and this sector is a vital cog in the wheel of the regional economy,” said Sarah.
“I am therefore delighted to be able to take a really active role in developing this side of our work here, in addition to supporting and advising clients in all areas of corporate and commercial law,” she added.
Sarah joins another high-profile Wilkin Chapman appointment within the Beverley office this year – in the spring Partner Nasim Sharf, a chartered tax adviser with a renowned background in Corporate and Commercial work, was welcomed to the growing team.
