THE DOUBLE WHAMMY! CHALLENGES OF COVID-19 AND EU EXIT BUSINESS NEEDS
The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce and the Humber LEP Growth Hub are appealing to businesses to work with them to ensure that the right type of support is available that meet their needs. The appeal is going out to large and medium sized businesses to discuss with them trading pressures, business needs and the type of future business support that would help them to address the short and medium term challenges of COVID-19 and the end of the EU Exit transition period.
We know that businesses are increasingly concerned by how best to prepare for the EU Exit and what the impact of COVID has meant for them. Do you have the resources that you would otherwise have had to prepare? Do you need advice on trading post the EU Exit transition period? Do you need to identify new markets and new opportunities? Do you need advice on continued trading with EU, Customs Declarations etc? Do you need financial advice on the economic impact and financial implications on your business as a result of COVID.19?
Pauline Wade, Director of International Trade at the Hull & Humber Chamber of commerce said “I hope businesses will take the time to talk to us”. “There are many uncertainties but we will continue to work with businesses to look for solutions and identify support that meet their needs”
For further information and a confidential discussion with regard to their needs, businesses should contact Pauline Wade at the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce. To request a meeting please email Pauline at p.wade@hull-humber-chamber.co.uk
