Upcoming in Infrastructure – Egypt 2024
Infrastructure in Egypt is up and coming, offering different opportunities across the different sectors including hospitality, ports and airports, power and energy, industrial and manufacturing, water treatment plants, metro and rail, road and bridges, petrochemicals and fertilizers, healthcare, facility management and digital transformation.
It is therefore one of the key sectors of focus at the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce this year and they continuously look to create bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Egypt and the UK, but also present Egypt as a gateway to the wider MEA region. The EBCC work in collaboration with DBT and the Commercial Office at the Egyptian Embassy and look to support both the government projects and the private sector in parallel.
The EBCC kicked off last week with a webinar with one of our members, Hassan Allam Holding, introducing a huge project in their pipeline.
The EBCC and the Hull and Humber Chamber would like to offer UK companies a deeper and unparalleled dive into the infrastructure industry in Egypt starting off with 2 webinars, webinar 1 and webinar 2, and leading up to an infrastructure mission in June 2024 including a 2-day visit to the Big5 Construct event and Egypt Infrastructure and Water Expo events
