Hallmark Hotel, Hull, Winner of Remarkable Hotel of the Year - REYTAs 2017

BEING awarded the title of “Remarkable Hotel of the Year” is a privilege for any hotel in the Hull & East Riding area; however winning this accolade in 2017 – when Hull it hosting the City of Culture – really is an achievement to be proud of.
Presented during the glittering and entertaining annual awards ceremony, held once again at the Bridlington Spa and attended by over 500 hospitality industry specialists – the Hallmark Hotel Team led by General Manager, Serena Jayne Walters was ecstatic to be rewarded with this prestigious title.
Commenting on the award Serena stated “This is a tremendous achievement and a delight for the Hotel and Team to win. I know that every member of the Team are incredibly proud of this achievement which we have won together. As a Team we are fully focussed on our guest experience and on delivering a relaxed and professional ambience – of which was reflected in the mystery shopper feedback and ultimately our award”.
The official quote by the REYTAs judges on the evening high-lighted the Hallmark Hotel stating;-
“A modern hotel with fabulous views of the Humber Bridge and estuary. High standards are to be found at this four star hotel with great service shown by professional and friendly staff.”
This is the 2nd time that the Hallmark Hotel has won the prestigious award in the past 5 years.
This win is further compounded by the hotel’s recent increase in their 4 Star AA rating; where following a recent AA hotel inspection in March the hotel were awarded an additional 2% on their 4 Star rating. This further substantiates the Hallmark Hotel as the highest AA rated hotel in the Hull area.
