Help today’s talent become tomorrow’s leaders
FUNDED by generous donations from members of the Chancellor’s Circle, the merit-based scholarship programme encourages those with the potential to be excellent undergraduate students, in and out of the classroom, to study at Hull. Each year, ten full-fee scholarships across subject areas will be awarded to exceptional students from around the UK.
The Chancellor’s Circle is made up of generous alumni, friends and members of the business community who each donate an annual gift of a minimum of £1,000.
The Rt Hon Alan Johnson, said: “The Chancellor’s Scholarship will allow us to expand opportunities to study at Hull for some of the country’s brightest and most deserving students. I’m delighted to be working with Chancellor’s Circle members to make that possible.”
These donations have a huge impact on the students selected to receive a Chancellor’s Scholarship.
Membership includes:
- Annual event hosted by the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor
- Meet scholarship recipients and hear their stories first-hand
- Network with a wide range of alumni from across business sectors and educational routes
- Annual newsletter
- Recognition of your support in our online donor roll
Chancellor’s Circle Member, Nigel Rendell, said: “I benefited from an excellent education at the University of Hull and would like as many as possible to have the same opportunity.”
Any alumni, friends and members of the business community who would like to join the Chancellor’s Circle and support the new scholarship can email Caitlin Hazell in the Development and Alumni Relations Office C.Hazell@hull.ac.uk
