HullBID newsletter shares city centre success stories
FROM the hugely successful Hull Street Food Nights to confirmation of some big names for Hull Trinity Festival and details of the major investment at Princes Quay Shopping Centre, HullBID is spreading the word about the city’s good news stories.
The quarterly HullBID newsletter has now been distributed to member businesses throughout the city centre to bring them up to date with the exciting events which are in the pipeline and to share information about new developments.
The big stories in the July edition include an update on the plans for the Hull Street Food Nights which will take place in Zebedee’s Yard on Thursday 27 July, Thursday 17 August and Thursday 21 September. The newsletter also reveals that top bands The Magic Numbers and The Ordinary Boys will headline at Hull Trinity Festival on Saturday 23 September and Sunday 24 September, with a line-up of top local bands to be confirmed nearer the date.
Ray Cliff, Head of Centre Management for Realm, talks about the changes at Princes Quay and Kathryn Shillito, HullBID City Centre Manager, comments on the need to protect the city centre from out of town developments.
There is the usual round-up of new business and other articles include a look at the new Hull Explorer open-top bus service, a business partnership at Hull Truck Theatre and the support from M&S for the Special Stars Foundation.
