Sail Through Your Event! First Media and P&O Ferries in Exciting New Partnership
First Media and P&O Ferries are launching a new partnership to provide a new and exciting venue for events. Working together First Media and P&O Ferries will provide a first class events service for event organisers who are looking for a unique and interesting venue to host their events.
The Pride of Hull is now opening up, room hire, catering, cinema rooms and overnight stays for corporate events, training days, networking, meetings and more. First Media are on-board to provide the event production including, event management, event design, AV and technical support.

To showcase the fantastic opportunities on offer the partnership are holding an open day on Thursday 15th February on board The Pride of Hull, from 10:00 to 15:00. The event is designed for event professionals, managers and decision makers a flavour of what’s on offer for their corporate events. It will include a small B2B exhibition which will also be offered free of charge on a first come first served basis.
The open day is free to attend and includes,

- 3 great speakers offering valuable business insights
- 2 Course buffet lunch in The Kitchen restaurant.
- Short post lunch activity session
- Exhibition & workshop in top deck Sky Lounge

Guest speakers include, Stuart Green - SJG Digital Cyber Security, Laura Clark, Wilkin Chapman, Simon Bedford, International Trade.
Stuart Green is the driving force behind SJG Digital, one of the most active cyber-security specialists in the UK, helping organisations throughout the country develop their defences against cyber-attacks. Stuart and his team have backgrounds that originate in the MoD and they now provide a unique and highly specialised skill set to their customers.
Laura Clark will be discussing how to protect your business in the social media sphere.
Laura provides advice on a full range of employment work, including tribunal claims, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements. She helps client manage and resolve employment issues with a balance of commercial sensitivity and tact, advising on a wide range of matters such as redundancy, whistleblowing and discrimination.
Simon Bedford will be talking about how to Grow your business in international markets

He will discuss the services and support available from DIT and the opportunities to grow your business overseas.
