The Winners of The World Design Awards 2023
THE World Design Awards stands as one of the globe's most esteemed honours in the architecture and design domain. This accolade acknowledges exceptional concepts that revolutionise architectural design by incorporating innovative technologies, materials, programs, aesthetics, and spatial arrangements. Additionally, it delves into studies on globalisation, flexibility, adaptability, and the digital revolution. Serving as a platform, it scrutinises the interplay between architecture and the natural environment, the connection between architecture and the community, and the dynamic relationship between architecture and the city.
Their award entry showcased ACA’s design of a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) on behalf of Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, which is one of the first of its kind in the country. The project specifications called for a cutting-edge, top-tier focal point to regenerate Scunthorpe city centre, serving as a comprehensive facility offering convenient access to a variety of diagnostic tests in proximity to residents' homes, minimising the need for hospital visits.
Alessandro Caruso, Managing Director, ACA said:
“At ACA, our mission is to create happier and healthier environments that enhance quality of life. Having personally witnessed the transformative impact of well-being-focused designs in improving individuals' experiences, I am excited to see our vision come to life. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all members of our team for their diligent and hardworking contributions.”
Amelia Caruso, Client Services Director, ACA said:
“I want to express immense gratitude to our entire team for their dedicated efforts. This award holds significant meaning for us, marking a major milestone.
