Calling all Northern Lincolnshire businesses - the wait is finally over . . .
THE Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Black Tie Presentation Evening for the 2020 Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards will go ahead at a virtual event on Thursday 22nd April.
Full details of how to apply for tickets to the event are at www.nlincsba.co.uk
Guests are being asked to rummage for their Black Ties and dust off their Posh Frocks for the event. Prizes for best dressed will be given. Catering in the form of hampers and supper boxes will be delivered to guests’ address of choice by Healing Manor. The hampers contain amongst other delicious food and wine, some ingredients to prepare a plate of canapés and Healing Manor will be awarding a prize for the best dressed!
The evening and awards presentation will be hosted by local legend Richard Askam, along with local comedian Lloyd Griffith who is making quite a name for himself nationally. There will also be a performance shown from Grimsby Institute performing arts students who will be celebrating World Earth Day which also takes place on 22nd April.
Lincolnshire based Collab are providing all the tech and guests will be able to try out the virtual experience by taking a ‘tour’ of the virtual venue prior to the event itself.
Anne Tate, Northern Lincolnshire Manager and Organiser for this Chamber event said: “The event is open for all business people throughout the region to book on and attend and we are hoping for a great turn out. Whilst we do not under-estimate or take lightly the toll that Covid-19 has brought us all we are determined not to let the pandemic stop us from continuing to celebrate our local businesses and applaud their achievements.
"We were of course hoping to put on our normal live event but we don’t want to delay any further. We can’t wait to share who the 2020 winners are!”
