THE Chamber is delighted to welcome new BCC Director General Shevaun Haviland days after our new Prime Minister will have stepped through the door of Number 10 for the first time.
Shevaun will address Humber businesses about the Government’s new strategy to tackle the economic challenges the UK faces, the effect of rising interest rates, inflation and the prospect of a looming recession, as highlighted recently by our last major speaker, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey.
Shevaun will take questions after her speech, so please join us for what promises to be an excellent insight into the new politics of Government as well as a Chamber business lunch.
The lunch is on Wednesday, September 21, 12 for 12.30pm, at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Willerby, HU10 6EB.
