Paul will focus on essential topics related to exit strategies and succession planning, covering how to ensure your business maintains its value over time. He will also discuss tax planning strategies and navigating the complexities involved in preparing for a successful exit, ensuring continuity and long-term success whatever your exit plan might look like.

 

Jack Newall-Swallow, Solicitor, Wilkin Chapman

Jack will discuss the importance of having valid Wills in place and Business Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) to maintain effective management of a business in unforeseen circumstances. They will also explain the importance of planning ahead for future stability and continuity, including the role of Business Property Relief (BPR) in reducing inheritance tax on business assets.

Adam and Kelsey will focus on the various exit strategies available to business owners. They will include an overview of third-party sales, comparing share sales and asset sales, and outlining the key legal considerations and preparatory steps for such transactions.
