Chamber postpones Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards until October 20
THE Chamber’s Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards have been postponed until Tuesday, October 20, 2020 due to the current Coronavirus crisis.
The Chamber’s Northern Lincolnshire manager Anne Tate said: “Whilst we are naturally disappointed not to be able to go ahead with the Awards Dinner in May, we have judged the Awards and nominees have been notified. They will just have to wait a little longer this year to find out who the overall winners are.
“Our Chamber thoughts are with all struggling businesses at the moment. These are tough times and being in business is tough enough without the added challenges everyone is currently facing.
“Hats off to all businesses – you are all winners in our book!”
The Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards are a highlight in the Northern Lincolnshire business calendar and a celebration that we look forward to every single year. The decision was not taken lightly but the safety of our business community in this uncertain time is a priority, and so the gala dinner and awards presentation will now take place later on in the year.
“We look forward to welcoming all of our finalists, sponsors, and businesses to Grimsby Auditorium in October, when we’ll be celebrating and handing out awards to some very deserving companies and business leaders”.
