Lord King says some schools and businesses should reopen
FORMER Bank of England Governor Lord King has said the Government should consider a "trial and error" reopening of schools and some businesses to help restart the economy.
Lord King who is now an independent crossbench peer said the Government "can rely on the common sense of people" and should outline the challenges faced given the lack of a vaccine and treatment, but admitted that there would be a risk of more infections.
He said the lockdown has its own costs, not only economic, but also costs in terms of the health and wellbeing of those affected by it.
