New £3,000 incentive for employers to take on an apprentice - we have candidates ready for interview now
THE Government has announced a £3,000 INCENTIVE TO RECRUIT 16-18 year old Apprentices in its summer Budget.
From August 1 businesses will be given £2,000 for each new apprentice they hire under the age of 25.
This is in addition to the existing £1,000 payment the Government already provides for new 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged under 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan. It is £1,500 for those aged 25 and over.
